Original copies of this once common record are getting quite hard to find. This is a 2009 re-issue of this rocking 1972 debut album from the band Big Star. "#1 Record" (Ardent Records ‎– ADS 2803) was the brainchild of Alex Chilton who came to fame as a vocalist in the hit band The Boxtops. those great Songs: Feel, The Ballad Of El Goodo, In The Street, Thirteen, Don't Lie To Me, The India Song, When My Baby's Beside Me, My Life Is Right, Give Me Another Chance &  Try Again.
